Welcome to Final_Final_Final, an on-going series focused on the documentation of inspiration, references and digital ephemera.
Every week, Raeland or a close friend of the newsletter shares a moodboard of 10 images along with a brief commentary.
Logging On is a weekly sprint through the timeline — Raeland Mendoza filters the noise into his takes on fashion, media, music, and whatever is moving the needle.

EDITORS NOTE - Yes, this is a day late. My apologies. Go watch my influencer debut here.
Among other projects this past week, some recent graphic work I did for Brazilian drum troupe, Dirt City Samba, finally hit the light of day.
It’s ironic - I have very formal training in apparel design and marketing. But graphic design is the corner of my toolbox that is purely driven by vibes alone. Sure: my eye, technical skills and taste level developed over years in the game are a big part of it. But I’ve never sat in a classroom and tried to learn photoshop.
I think that’s why within my creative work, my visual style in graphics usually skew towards maximalism and boldness. This is in contrast to the subtle maneuvers and finesses that define my brain when making garments.
In me are two wolves, and they both share an Adobe account.
Bonus: here’s a case study card of said Dirt City Samba project
For those curious, even with the Held in Form roll out in full swing, I am still accepting limited freelance work or projects.
Creative, design (apparel, graphics), tech packs, sourcing, product development.
If you have an idea, let’s make it into a reality. I’d love to hear from you.
